Credit Report

A credit report is a comprehensive document that contains personal identification information, credit card details, loan information, and payment history, including bounced checks. Financial institutions primarily use credit reports to evaluate creditworthiness when reviewing loan or credit card applications. Additionally, other entities such as telecommunications companies, car rental and leasing agencies, insurance providers, and real estate companies also utilize credit reports.

Credit Score

A credit score is a three-digit number that forecasts an individual's likelihood of making loan and credit card payments on time. The score ranges from 300, indicating a high risk of default, to 900, suggesting a low risk of default.

Credit scores are calculated using advanced predictive analytics methodologies employed by various international credit bureaus and banks. Your score fluctuates based on your payment behavior, including making timely payments, avoiding bounced checks, reducing the number of credit cards and other credit facilities, and consistently lowering outstanding balances. These actions will positively impact your credit score.
